Itinerary
Transfer to Mikumi National Park and evening game drives
Early morning of this day at around 05:30 hours you will be picked from your hotel in Dar to start drive to Mikumi National Park. Will have breakfast break in Chalinze and then continue to Mikumi via Morogoro. When you arrive at the park you will be checked in, refresh at your accommodation and later on go for evening and sunset game drives.
Meals: Meal plan for this day includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments
Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at the park cottages.
Full day game drives in Mikumi National Park
On this day you will have sunrise game drive starting from 06:30 hours and come back to the cottages for breakfast at around 08:30 hours. Will continue with game drive till lunch time whereby you will have lunch within the park. After lunch and a little rest you will continue with game drive in another part of the park till around 16:30 hours and that will be the end of full day game drive. In Mikumi expect to see animals such as Lions, Buffalos, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos and more than 300 bird species.
Meals: Meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments.
Accommodation: After game drive will go back to the cottages for dinner and over night stay.
Transfer to Ruaha National Park and Sunset game drives
Early morning of this day you will leave for Ruaha National Park via Iringa town. When you arrive at the park you will be checked in, refresh at your accommodation and later on the day will go for sunset game drives.
Meals: Meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments.
Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at the Park Cottages/Bandas inside the park.
Full day game drives in Ruaha National park
On this day you will leave early at 06:30 hours to go for sunrise game drive with parked breakfast and lunch boxes. Will continue with game drive searching for wild animals around different locations of the park till lunch break. After lunch and a little rest within the park you will continue with the game drive till around 18:00 hours when you will go back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. Other animals and attractions you should expect to see includes but not limited to Buffalos, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos, different birds, plants and reptiles species.
Meals: Meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments.
Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at the Park Cottages/Bandas.
Sunrise game drives and Transfers to Udzungwa Mountains
Early morning of this day at around 06:00 hours you will leave for sunrise game drives in Ruaha for about 2 hours before having breakfast at your hotel and then start drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park.
Meals: Dinner and overnight stay at the Twiga Hotel.
Accommodation: Meal plan for this day includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments.
Trekking in Udzungwa and transfers to Dar Es Salaam
The purpose of this trip is to show you the Natural habitats of Udzungwa National Park. Early morning of this day you will be picked from your hotel in Udzungwa and drive to the entrage gate to be checked in. After registering will start climbing taking the Sanje route to be able to see the 4 stage waterfalls. Udzungwa is one of thirty four World Biodiversity hotspots. Expect to see Primates. Udzungwa have 11 primates species whereby 2 of these are found no where in the world, these are Sanje Mangabey (Cercocebus sanjei) and Iringa Red Colobus (Procobus gordonorum). Also you may have the opportunity to see habituated Sanje Mangabeys, different endemic plant species, birds, reptiles and Amphibians, Butterflies, waterfalls, etc.
When you come down you will start drive to Dar with lunch break in Mikumi town or Morogoro.
When you arrive in Dar you will be taken to your hotel/residency and that will be the end of your safari
